celebrating valentine's day has never really been our thing.
every day is valentine's day, right?

... but we picked up a few little items for each other:


...got some pretty roses from the place we're staying:


...made our very own heart-shaped bokeh filter:


...it makes the stars look like hearts:


...and had some heart-shaped grilled cheese sandwiches:


...on paper plates, because we're classy like that.

awww this is so sweet. Looks like you both had a beautiful and romantic Valentine's day. I spent Vday with my bf and parent's who were in LA visiting for the first time from Ottawa. It was a wonderful Valentines Day.

kELL and rOED - just search for heart bokeh tutorials on google, you'll do better there than getting the info from me! i think it would have worked better if we had a wide angle lens and a protractor!
