blue jay way

During our first week in Cape Town, we stayed at a self-service apartment. Our old house was pretty stuffy and dark. We had some hand-me-down furniture and we didn't spend a lot of time on aesthetics. After staying at this apartment, we agreed that brighter colours might be the way to go when we buy a new home. The light shades reflected the sunshine and the blue was so calming. Alex does miss our old bed though. At 6 '2, his feet hang over most beds and it bothers him a lot more than it bothers me. The weather in Cape Town was lovely and we ended up extending our stay so that we could enjoy as much of the city as possible. - Mina

Really digging the nice shades of blue in the place.

I've never stayed in one myself so how much do those apts cost relative to a hotel room or hostel dorm?
