Oh, these pictures make me nostalgic. I lived in Cairo for a year. Egyptians are such gentle souls...
geex, I have never been able to make it into Khan. the thought of it alone overwhelms me- haggling, harrasment, crowds, discourtesies...I ventured in a few yards once and turned and walked right out
Oh is that the tent makers area of the market? I loved the beautiful quilts they made. Cairo is a fascinating place, especially the driving!
