i love hearing my dads travel stories about when he was in egypt - it sounds like such an intense, interesting place!

geex, I have never been able to make it into Khan. the thought of it alone overwhelms me- haggling, harrasment, crowds, discourtesies...I ventured in a few yards once and turned and walked right out

Oh is that the tent makers area of the market? I loved the beautiful quilts they made. Cairo is a fascinating place, especially the driving!
