around montreal

Walking around this city, especially the Old Port, on the weekend is one of my favourite things to do. These pictures are from awhile ago, right before it became too chilly to go outside without a coat. Christmas music  is already playing in the stores and I'm still trying to hold on to autumn. One day I'll get used to this whole season changing thing (hopefully right before we move somewhere with a perpetual summer). For now, I'm pretty happy here... as long as I can get away for a chunk of the winter. - Mina

  1. Looks like such a beautiful city, too bad my only visit consisted of me sitting on the tarmac for 4 hours. One day I'll visit for real. Maybe even during the winter when it's nice and snowy!

  6. I hear you lady, I am always confused when the seasons are changing. All of a sudden you have to think about what to wear and all the little routines have to change.

  15. Being from Montreal originally, myself, these images tweak at my heartstrings quite a bit. I miss rainy autumn (but admittedly, not slushy freezing winter). Sigh!
