pâtisserie al jawda à marrakech

Popped into this Moroccan pâtisserie to pick up some foreign-to-us desserts. They seemed to have hundreds of pastries packed into this small place - including sweet and savoury treats with ingredients like orange-flower water, figs, and desert honey.

  1. Gorgeous photos!
Amazing how different in colour the sweets are. Usually you find tons of bright colours of icing and cakes but everything here is brown, chocolate and nuts. Except for the gelatin fruits but even their colours are relatively muted.
I love the facade of the building!
