early vermont antiques

I asked Alex to stop as we drove by Early Vermont Antiques. It was musty and kind of creepy - everything an antique store should be. Alex found a board game that he used to play as a kid and bargained the price down to a few dollars. Score.

  3. Antique stores are always so interesting. You never know what you're going to unearth and find. These things used to BELONG to PEOPLE. It's crazy. They weren't just items in a shop. They had a story, a meaning. Perhaps they were wedding gifts. Presents to loved ones. It's just crazy how everything always gathers up in a shop. I always end up staring at the black and white photos. It's so interesting to see those people, to wonder who they were and what types of lives they had.
