Mount Davidson Sunrise - no. 1 • 13 comments • Geographically speaking, Mount Davidson sits in the center of San Francisco and is basically in our backyard (well, about a 15 min. walk). I may be impartial, but it really is my favourite spot to hang out and my #1 recommendation to visitors. The view isn't as expansive as the one from Twin Peaks, and it's slightly more challenging to reach the summit, which is why I think it's not a popular tourist spot. Having said that, it's not a difficult hike - even if you're a couch potato. These iPhone images are from the first of many sunrises that we've been fortunate enough to experience. The fog here always makes everything seem more ethereal. - Mina
#SANFRANCISCO • 8 comments • Some Instagram photos from around San Francisco. I hate to sound like a broken record, but I really love this city.
Madame Tussauds | San Francisco • 10 comments • I'm so impressed by the artistry of the people who make the statues at Madame Tussauds. They've done a good of putting this place together and including facts about the people depicted. I didn't expect to get a little history lesson about major events around San Francisco. It's a fun place to pop in if you're visiting Fisherman's Wharf. Mostly, you go there so you can act like a fool. We're ridiculous: CUT!! 5th BEATLE THUG LIFE ALEX FOR PRESIDENT!
San Diego • 5 comments • We didn't see as much of San Diego as we would have liked because we weren't there for a vacation. After a short flight, we grabbed In-N-Out for dinner (Shake Shack is better - don't kick me out of California for saying that, please). Before leaving the city, we had brunch at Fig Tree Cafe. So, our San Diego "guide" consists of two restaurants and the Sheraton we stayed at to save a few dollars. I took advantage of the empty pool for a night swim and we hung out in the hot tub until we became prune-y. You're so very welcome for this comprehensive and helpful travelogue!
